How Blockchain is taking over the world

August 4, 2018 @ 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM UTC+5.5

Objectives:

Everyone is now talking about blockchain, a revolutionary disruptive technology. Blockchain is part of top technology trends forecast by leading research firms like Gartner. This technology gained traction with rise of popularity of Bitcoin in last couple of years. But, Blockchain doesn’t equal to Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies only. Blockchain has impressive prospects in the field of digital transactions which will open new business opportunities.

Blockchain also uncovers many possibilities with various disruptive technologies in multiple domains and use cases. One of the most attractive aspects of blockchain technology is the unchangeable nature of the transactions. Odds are that it will create more secure public and private online transactions, resulting in less fraud, which will ultimately regain the trust of the public.

In this interactive session, we would briefly explore basic understanding of Blockchain as a technology. We will also explore various potential use cases for the government, healthcare, manufacturing, and other industries to understand how Blockchain is taking over the world. We would also discuss various use cases in different industry domains and how they are getting benefitted.
