Sivanandhan has retired as the Director General of Police, Maharashtra after 35 years of service in IPS. Served as Commissioner of Police for Mumbai, Thane and Nagpur. Worked for six years in Intelligence Bureau. 6 years in the Mumbai Crime Branch as Additional Commissioner of Police – Crime and Joint Commissioner of Police – Crime (1993-1995 and 1998-2001). 3 years as Joint Director of Central Bureau of Investigation. 3 years as Deputy Inspector General of naxal affected Gadchiroli area. Working with 15 NGOS as an advisor. Managing trustee of Mumbai Roti Bank and has served 7.8+ million free meals during the pandemic.
