BMA’s flagship program ‘Innothon’ in its fourth year witnessed a grand inauguration ceremony. BMA President, Mr. Rajesh Sharma welcomed the dignitaries present, participants and the audience on 19th November 2022. Dr. Kiran Yadav wished all the participants all the best. Ms. Supriya Sachdeva and Mr. Shripad Ranade were also part of the organising committee. Innothon is a flagship event of BMA. It is a tripartite collaboration of young brains, professors, managers and leaders and industry professionals. ‘INNOTHON’ presents management students with a real business challenge for which they have to propose a solution. The business problems will be presented by the participating organizations which can be corporates and family businesses or MSMEs. Every participating organization provides a problem statement. A team of four to five students works as consultants to the participating organization supported by a faculty advisor and BMA-appointed top-notch industry experts. Each team conducts the research including primary and secondary research and presents the recommendations well as their findings to the participating organization’s Every participating organization crowdsources solutions from at least 4 teams. On the last day of the competition, the best solution chosen by every participating organization becomes eligible for the final round of INNOTHON. All these finalists showcase and present their innovative solutions to a panel of elite external jury, to compete for the coveted ACC Dandekar Memorial Trophy. This year we have received 6 Problem Statements namely from Kotak, SBI, Wockhardt, Urihk, Vitamystic and 39 teams were formed from 14 institutes. |
