Overview:-

Team players and good communicators have an edge over others. The workshop will focus on developing this edge by understanding the Why and How of communicating with different types of people.. The workshop incorporates a behavioural assessment to give a more complete understanding of the language of  DISC and how to use it. Participants learn how to interact with others and to appreciate others behavioural styles.

The major topic areas covered are: understanding self, working effectively with others, understanding and working with different and difficult behaviour styles and seeing the plus and minus of each style. It will include assertive communication and its applications to  conflict situations. Using the techniques contained in the workshop individuals and teams  can open the doors of communication to help them succeed and meet their goals.

What you will achieve after this workshop?

This workshop will help you find out what you know and possibly did not know about yourself. The personalized report enhances the behavioural training by using each individuals style to understand the language of DISC.

You will also learn to understand people who are a challenge for you and thus get better results when communicating with them.

Behaviour is the doorway to communication . The use of it creates win – win relationships. Your behavioural design is the combination of four adaptable factors .

The DISC Behavioural model is universally proven to provide applications for improvement in Communication and improving Inter Personal Relationships

  • Develop a better understanding of behaviour styles and it’s implications for Personal, Professional and Team development.

Effective communication stems from the right combination of tone of voice, words, body language, pace of speech and actions.  These four areas are the components of a person’s behavioural style

  • Understand difficult behaviour styles and develop stronger communication techniques for working more effectively with these styles. ( Case study approach)

We need to adapt our behaviour in order to communicate more effectively with   others. Once we recognize and appreciate others behavioural designs there is enhanced communication, understanding and improved relationships. Productivity increases and stress is reduced.

  • Demonstrate the integration of active listening in your management style and Understand the importance of managing conflict through assertive communication.
  • Action Plan – To identify the goals you want to reach, analyze the current situation, and develop a plan that will integrate some of the concepts presented in the workshop. ( Using the DISC Report )
