Presenters
Lalit Johri, Professor, has been an innovative academic for over 45 years. His areas of expertise include strategy and leadership in international businesses, alliances including public–private partnerships, public policy, and institutional reform. He holds an MSc degree in physics and MBA and PhD degrees in Business Policy and Strategic Management. Until October 2019, Lalit served as Senior Fellow in International Business and Director of the Oxford Advanced Management and Leadership Programme (OAMLP) at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Currently, he is based in Thailand, leading research and people and team development initiatives and advising policymakers and business leaders in public and private enterprises in several countries. Earlier, Lalit served as Professor of International Business at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), where he was a Founding Director of the School’s Executive MBA. He was also a tenured professor at the University of Delhi in India. He has led research, consulting, and executive education programmes for senior leaders in private and public sector organisations and government agencies in the USA, UK, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. He has attended the Aspen Seminar and was awarded the Aspen Scholar of the Year by the Aspen Institute, Washington, USA, for his outstanding professional accomplishments and public contributions.
Prasad Ramakrishnan is Chief Operating Officer of Motiv Power Systems, the Silicon Valley based leader in the 2 to 6 tons commercial electric truck market. He is a mobility partner at SNGLR, a startup VC based in Switzerland, and a consultant at Stanford University’s Seed Program which mentors scale-ups in Africa and Asia. A transformational global leader and change agent with a distinguished career at Ford, Triumph International, Alstom and General Electric, he has lived and worked in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. Prasad’s education has been in physics, electrical engineering, and administration. He is an alumnus of Oxford’s Said Business School’s Advanced Management and Leadership Programme. He was an adjunct faculty member at the Swiss Federal Technological University (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland, and at Babson College in Boston, USA. He enjoys reading, tennis, travel and learning about different cultures.
Anshul Sonak is Principal Engineer and Global Director of Digital Readiness Programs (Global Government Affairs Group) for Intel Corporation. Based in California, he advises social enterprises, start-ups, government bodies, and multilateral organisations on making technology inclusive and expanding digital readiness for all. Anshul has implemented several social education programmes in digital literacy, inclusion, STEM disciplines, youth techno-entrepreneurship, and technology for good. He is a regular speaker on social impact at programmes organised by UNDP and the Asian Development Bank. He has a master’s degree in rural management from the Institute of Rural Management, India. He has completed the Oxford Advanced Management and Leadership Programme. He is UNDP Asia’s first regional Youth Co-Lab Champion from the private sector.
