Dr A K Sen Gupta

Dr Sen Gupta is a known Teacher, Researcher and Thinker in the parlance of Higher  Education in India. A Ph.D. in Commerce, he is the Founder & Convener of Higher Education Forum (HEF), the largest community in the space of Higher Education in India with more than 3,500 members. This is the largest think tank for Higher Education in India. Besides headquarters in Mumbai, it operates through a number of branches including Pune, Gujarat, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. HEF is involved in a number of capacity building activities for two of most important stakeholders of education namely, Students and Teachers.

Dr Sen Gupta is the Mentor of newly established Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s K M Munshi Institute of Advanced Studies (KM-IAS) operating from BVB Navi Mumbai Kendra. He is also the Promoter and Chief Trustee of MyRetiredLife (MRL), a newly created social enterprise dedicated to senior citizens. It has more than 250 senior citizens as members. The motto of MRL is “Living Life with Self Respect and Dignity for Senior Citizens.”

Some of his past assignments include Professor & Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai, one of top business schools in the country, Director & Mentor, SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS), Navi Mumbai, another top-ranked management institute on Pan-India basis, World Bank Consultant and instrumental in setting up National Banking College (NBC) as the apex banking training & research institute for Sub-Saharan English speaking Africa in Ghana, Africa and Professor at National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune, India.

He started his career as a Banker with Punjab National Bank and worked there for more than a decade in various Managerial Capacities. He is a strong believer and votary of quality of education and passionate about improving the quality of education in India benchmarking with global standards. Dr Sen Gupta is an avid researcher & writer with 6 books to his credit and more than 50 research articles in National and International Journals.

Dr. Sanjay Muthal

With over 33 years of experience in India and Abroad Dr. Sanjay Muthal has multi-faceted background in Consulting, Strategic HR, Recruitment, Learning & Development and Organisation Development. Dr. Sanjay Muthal has now started a new venture called Kontempore Leadership & Business Solutions a. KLBS aims to engage in the space of Search, Leadership Consulting, HR Technology & Analytics. KLBS provides cutting edge digital transformation solutions for eProcurement. SM held very senior positions in the HR functions in large Indian and Multinational Conglomerates. His last role was  President – HR with Piramal Group, India’s largest pharmaceutical company. Prior to that, he has had his experience in RPG Group, Hinduja Group and MNC’s like Parke Davis and Hoechst. SM has had his long stint in the Middle East and the UK.

SM also provides Strategic advice to many Boards on creating Vision, Mission, Leadership Development and Organization Re-structuring. He is on the advisory board of several Industry organizations, Professional HR bodies and leading Management schools. SM has led large teams in HR functions and has worked on the board levels in his industry roles wherein he has helped organizations to grow strategically and acquire businesses globally.

He is globally recognized as influential HR person.  Some of his recognitions include “India’s Greatest HR Professional” award conferred at World HRD Congress,   “HR Achiever’s” award at India Brand Summit, “Outstanding contributions in the field of HR” presented at Asia Pacific HR Congress. SM serves as an Independent Director on the Board of LIC AMC and Mutual Fund. SM also is on the Board of NHRDN the largest HR professional body in India.
