A Metaphysical Perspective and Wellness During Pandemic by Guruji Shri Akincana Krishna Das

May 27, 2020 @ 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM UTC+5.5

About the webinar : ‘A Metaphysical perspective and wellness during pandemic’

When it comes to compassion both East & west at least philosophically tend to concur. Pythagoras (570-490 BC) said– For as long as man continues to be the ruthless destroyer of lower living beings, he will never know health or peace. For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seeds of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love.
Also Mahatma Gandhi believed that true nonviolence begins with becoming a vegetarian. Thus he said, ‘ The most dangerous weapon in the world is the table fork.’ – Mahatma Gandhi.
Compassion is one of the foundations of Sanatan Dharma. And flouting its rules can spell disaster for human society. The proof of it is the COVID-19 virus pandemic which emerged from a Chinese slaughter house. It is a stark reminder that the human society has deviated from the above stated principle. It is time that we collectively look at other more humane alternatives to nutrition and health. The topic ‘A Metaphysical perspective and wellness during pandemic’ takes a look at the possibility of the connection between world disasters and degradation of moral and spiritual principles.
