Lecture Meeting on “Institution Building and Corporate Ayurveda”

November 27, 2019 @ 6:00 PM UTC+5.5

Rome wasn’t built in a day’

It always takes time for creating something monumental. One needs to be committed to the cause and be patient to accomplish such big tasks. Great Institutions are not built overnight; rather it is a tireless journey, evolved over time and takes ages of hard work, patience and perseverance to succeed.

In today’s world, building an institution with sustained business growth for long periods is extremely difficult with rising levels of competition and ever-evolving economic dynamics unless business leaders demonstrate exemplary skills to achieve it.  It is therefore a test of nerves for them to build their institutions to a global scale. In accomplishing this task how should they look at the importance of values, ethics and sustainable and inclusive growth for all?

There are two questions:

  1. Is there a difference between leaders and shapers i.e.–excellent business leaders as against shapers of business institutions? How can India train and deploy more institution builders rather than just excellent business leaders?
  2. Can growth coexist with long-life? Can corporate ambitions be made compatible with long-life? Is there some corporate Ayurveda as a solution, in full or in part?

We all are looking for answers to these questions.  Is there some corporate Ayurveda as a solution in Institutional building? The honorable speaker will precisely attempt to answer that.
