The Code on Wages, 2019, also known as the Wage Code, is an Act of the Parliament of India that consolidates the provisions of four labour laws concerning wage and bonus payments and makes universal the provisions for minimum wages and timely payment of wages for all workers in India. The Code repeals and replaces the Payment of Wages Act, 1936, the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965, and the Equal Remuneration Act, 1976. This discussion will elucidate the ways in which the Wage Code will be impacting every strata of society.

He is also Editor of Arbiter a monthly journal published by the Institute. He is also an expert in the field of Industrial Relations and works as a retainer with Indian and multinational companies. He is an adviser to Companies in IT, ITes, Banking, Travel, insurance, Media, manufacturing,pharmaceuticals, engineering,chemical and other Industries on legal compliances, employment contract and dealing with employees individually and collectively. He is an NGO Member on the ICC of several Multinational and Indian Companies. He Is also closely connected to academic institutions and is a visiting faculty at JBIMS and other PG Management Institutions and supports many HR and IR Organisations like NIPM, BMA, KEA, etc. He works with many Companies closely on a retainership basis with both Indian and multinational Companies. He works very closely the Indian and multinational pharma Companies in the management of the field staff. His consultations are on employment laws, breach of contract, severance, dealing with indiscipline, misconduct etc. He specialises in the field of Industrial Relations and advises Companies on how to manage their labour, unions and assists in restructuring and reorganising. He is also a Director on the Board of Private Company and has over 3 decades experience in the field of Industrial Relation. He trains Managers as well as Union Leaders on Law and Industrial Relations. He has visited Abroad on an UNDP Fellowship and travelled to Brussels sponsored by the International Industrial Relations Association.
