BMA in Action b October 2018

The Fellowship meet was held on 5th October at Wockhardt Towers. The theme session on bMarketing Insights b Current Trendsb by Mr Niteen Bhagwat, Former President & Vice Chairman, FCB Ulka was a great success and was attended by 150+ members. It was one of the most talked about BMA events. There were several announcements about the activities conducted by BMA India most notable one being that bThe President and EC decided to spread the wave of such bFellowship Meetb in Navi Mumbai, Thane, Western Region and South Mumbai in the coming monthsb. The atmosphere and the enthusiasm among the BMA India members were unbelievable.

Return on Investment (ROI) on HR, Training and OD

An extremely exciting and power-packed session on bReturn on Investment (ROI) on HR, Training and ODb was held on 20th October 2018 at BMA Knowledge Enrichment Facility by Dr Sonali Wagle b Founder, Exponential Advisory. Dr Sonali shared some great insights on how to define the objectives for Training, analyse and evaluate the interventions at a workplace and also shared the tools and metrics to determine the outcome of it.

An extremely innovative and a thought provoking session on the topic of bThe Brand Youb was conducted by Mr Sushil Bahl, Professional, Academician, Author, and Mentor for the members of South Mumbai Chapter of BMA on 25th October 2018. The session highlighted the impact of enthusiasm on a brand and shared insights about a new way of looking at oneself through a very engaging and interactive session.

Inter-Collegiate Competition
On 27th of October 2018 an Inter-Collegiate Group Discussion Competition 2018-19 conceived by Ms Supriya Sachdeva, EC Member was held at IES Management College & Research Centre with the support from Dr D. Harsolekar, Director, IES Management College & Research Centre. The participants were evaluated on problem-solving skills, communication skills, content quality & relevance, non-verbal communication etc. After a thorough evaluation and assessment, the following students were awarded as:
  • Ms Ayushi Dadhich, Welingkar Institute of Management, - The Winner
  • Mr Suraj Thakur, Welingkar Institute of Management - the 1st Runner Up
  • Ms Radhika Phatke, NMIMS - the 2nd Runner Up
  • Mr Nikhil Gangarde, NMIMS - 3rd Runner Up
