The Digital Disruption – The New Normal the sequel to Digital Leadership Summit -2017 was held as a day- long session on 18th August 2018 at The Leela Hotel.

The Summit was presided over by Dr. Murtaza Khorakiwala, President BMA, MD Wockhardt who rendered a high impact Talk on the role of BMA in the New Age or The Digital Age. The Conference was ably supported by Mr. M D Agarwal, Former Past President and Conference Chair. Ms. Rekha Sethi, Director General, AIMA, presented her holistic views on Digital Disruption and the way forward followed by the Keynote Address on Leadership in the Age of Disruption by Mr. T.V Mohandas Pai, Chief Guest’s – President AIMA & Chairman Manipal Global Education Services Pvt. Ltd t power packed session set the stage for the ensuing riveting sessions.

Mr. Kushe Bahl, Partner at Mckinsey & Co. deliberated on Accelerators for Digital Journey and Business Transformation as part of the concluding note of the Inaugural session.  Mr. Jagmohan Singh Rishi, Chief L&D Strategist and Digital & Analytics Strategist at Wockhardt Ltd, The Session anchor orchestrated the flow of the opening session with perfection, punctuated by humour.

Mr. T.V Mohandas Pai on popular interacted with the large contingent of student delegates attending the Summit. Post tea break session was technology oriented with the speakers delivering a talk in multiple areas on   Multiplying Intelligence: Using AI to Conquer. Mr. Anil Joshi, Convener BMA continued to anchor the penultimate session with erudite speakers presenting their viewpoints. Dr. R. Kim, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Retina Services, Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai on Use of AI in Medical services; A path Breaking view of  Practitioner and Mr. Sauvik Banerjjee, VP- Tata Industries & CTO- TataCLiQ on Thought Leadership  Experience Sharing : Data Science  for Business  brand value and innovation enabler

Plenary Session 4

The highlights of the plenary session 4 and sub theme was Digital Jobs & Social Impact a talk by Mr. Dilip Chenoy, Secretary General, FICCI who spoke on – Is Digital a game changer in job market & social life, Mr. Tanmoy Chakrabarty, Group Government Affairs Officer, Tata Sons Limited shared his views on Social Impact in Innovation Making a Difference in the Digital Space, Mr. Raj Nair, President, IMC & Chairman, Avalon Consulting put forth his in depth knowledge on prospects of digital technologies for small & medium industries and concluding the session, Mr. Harsh Pamnani, Author of Book “Booming Brands” provided a glimpse about his book and elaborated on  Branding in Digital – New Age.

Valedictory Session

Ms. Chhaya Sehgal, VP, BMA stepped in to moderate the closing session of Mr. G. V. Nageswara Rao, Managing Director &CEO, National Securities Depository Limited(NSDL) presenting his view on Digital Transformation in NSDL Key Learning thus lowering the certains of the grand summit.

The Digital Disruption – The New Normal with galaxy of speakers from diverse background of Digital space kept the 250 plus delegates spellbound till the calumniation stage, The Summit creates a new benchmark in history of conferences and conventions hosted by BMA in collaboration with AIMA our parent body.
